The municipality of Dicmo is part of the Dalmatian hinterland. It is located on the mainland Splitsko-Dalmatinska County near Split as the first town within the county. Dicmo occupies a significant geopolitical position and borders the town of Sin, east of Trilje, south of the Dugopolje municipality and west of the municipalities of Muć and Klis.
