Samobor Craft Festival

For the fifth year, the Samobor Craft Festival - the largest festival of small crafts in Croatia, will be held rom 24th to 26th o April. The Samobor Craft Festival, whose predecessor for years was the Samobor Spring Fair, has widly open its doors.

Samobor Craft Festival gathers in one place a rich craft and gastronomic offer of valuable and unique handicrafts and gastronomic delights, specific not only for Samobor, but for the whole of Croatia. Visitors will get to know the offer by taking a pleasant walk through the city center.

Around 50 exhibitors, the most so far, will display their products on the Matica Hrvatska Square, Kleščićeva Street and King Tomislav Square. During three days filled with a rich offer for all generations, visitors will be able to discover a wide range of small craftsmen, entrepreneurs, creatives and their handmade products that reflect the diversity and richness of local culture and tradition. From fine ceramic dishes, to jewelry to colorful fabrics with authentic patterns, each product bears the stamp of authenticity and love for the craft.

As part of the Craft Festival, for the second time, the Association of Craftsmen of Samobor, Sveta Nedelja and Stupnik is organizing Gastro Samobor, an event that last year brought together around twenty crafts associations from all over Croatia. This year, their number is even greater, so around thirty of them, from Vukovar, Đakovo, Koprivnica, Sisak and Petrinja, through Jastrebarsko, Stubičke Toplice and Metković, all the way to Makarska, Kaštela and Imotski, which is this year's most distant participant, will present the gastronomic wealth of their region.
