PagArtFestival is the only artistic manifestation in the area of the city of Pag that attracts not only with the quality of the program but also with a special atmosphere, equally attractive to different generations and nations, beautiful and unusual concert venues such as the Pag Solana salt magazine, the carefully decorated ruins of the Old Town of Pag, St. Mary's Assumption Church.

The 27th PagArtFestival will be held from August 1 to 17 with with five events;various concerts and performances at unique locations throughout the city.

The traditional opening recital by pianist Lovro Pogorelić, the founder of the Festival, originally from Pažan, will be held on the lawn below the church in Stari Grad on August 1st, with a refined program of magnificent compositions by Robert Schumann.

At the same location on August 4, ŽabaTeatar from Zagreb will hold the play Illusions by Ivan Viripajev, one of the most prominent playwrights of our time, directed and performed by Ana Pogorelić, Andrej Jemcov and Katarina Ranković, guests from Belgrade.

Concert on the Festini boat (8 August) next to the rocks of the "Pag Gate", the new location of the PagArtfestival which proved to be truly magical last summer. The performance will be performed by the esteemed guitarist Krešimir Bedek who, along with compositions by Legnani, Villa-Lobos, Tárrega and Ponce, will present to the Pag audience the Sonata for Guitar by Ivan Josip Skender, which deals with the motif of the Pag kolo.

In the Old Town of Pag, among the ruined remains of a medieval monastery, a concert by Russian-Austrian violinist Elena Denisova will be held on August 12th, featuring selected works by Bach and Ysaÿe.

The festival will traditionally be opened by pianist Lovro Pogorelić with a concert recital in the imposing setting of the Pag Solane salt warehouse.
