During its history, this church was annexed twice while in 1863 the western nave and church tower were also annexed. Our Lady of Health is the traditional protector of Jelsa and its surrounding areas and is celebrated on November, 21.
The church of Our Lady of Health was built in 1535, on the hillock of Račić.
