The Preko ferry terminal is located on the northern side of the island of Ugljan, not far from the city center, at the end of the waterfront.
Nearby there are restaurants, bars, shops, banks. With regular ferry lines, Preko is connected to Zadar (Gaženica). and Ošljak.
The ferry Ugljan sails along the line, which can carry 650 passengers and 114 vehicles. Regular lines have up to 29 departures per day in July and August, around 25 departures in June and September, and 20 daily departures are available throughout the rest of the year. The sailing time between Zadar and Prek takes 20-25 minutes.
