World Tourism Day is celebrated on 27 September each year to foster awareness among the international community of the importance of tourism and its social, cultural, political and economic value. It is also to feature and recognise the commitment the tourism industry can make in achieving these objectives. Raising awareness of the importance of tourism and its impacts worldwide. By UNWTO decision, each year, World Tourism Day is organized in a different host country. The theme for World Tourism Day 2019 is Tourism and Jobs: A better future for all.
Croatia as previous years will join other nations around the world in marking this special day with different activities.
